Lebanon Crises

Lebanon has endured one crisis after another: the 2019 economic collapse, the COVID-19 pandemic, the Beirut Port Blast, and the devastating wars of 2024 and 2026. Through every moment of fear, displacement, and uncertainty, TREA has stood beside the most vulnerable communities, ensuring that families do not feel forgotten.

 

Since 2011, TREA has worked tirelessly and continuously to provide food assistance to those struggling to survive, bringing not only nourishment, but also dignity, care, and hope during some of the country’s darkest moments.

Most recently, during March and April 2026, as thousands of families were displaced and forced to seek refuge in school shelters, TREA responded immediately to support those in urgent need, especially women, children, widowers, and vulnerable families who had lost stability, security, and access to basic necessities. From distributing bread and clean drinking water, to providing food boxes filled with essential items, fresh fruits and vegetables, and supermarket vouchers that allowed families to choose what they needed most, every act of support was driven by compassion and care. In times when many felt abandoned, TREA remained present on the ground, helping families hold on through crisis with humanity and care.
